News just out...Yards Brewing Co. is now up and running! Tom Kehoe and crew got through all the renovations needed to the building and are brewing fools. They are making the famous Philadelphia Pale Ale, the ESA, IPA and Brawler, an English-style session ale. Once the dust settles, they plan on brewing some of the old favorites like Trubbel de Yards and the Old Ale. Really looking forward to that! Look for them at your local pub and/or package store. If you don't see their beer, remember to ask for it!
Don't miss the Philly Oktoberfest 9/27/08 at the Armory, 22 S. 23rd St from 1PM - 5PM, $45 presale $60 day of(if any left), $75 VIP starting at 12. There will be 50+ beers from Germany and the US. Go here for tix and more info. Be there!
Another great piece of news we just got from our ear-to-the-ground writer, Jack Curtin, is that Iron Hill will be opening their 8th location in Maple Shade, NJ in May 2009...can you believe it? NJ will add another feather to its cap!
Our book "New Jersey Breweries" is now available! Thank you Lew for allowing me to be a part of this project. It is a real hoot to see your name on the cover of a real book! Watch for a list of signings here and on Lew's site.

getting closer to opening. Tom has tested the brewing system and is still
doing pizza bakes to test the oven's stamina. Look for opening dates here.
